We perform minimally invasive bunion surgery, where incisions are typically a few millimeters long compared to the 3- to-5-inch incisions used in tradition open bunion surgery. Patients may benefit from this approach by experiencing shorter recovery time, quicker return to function, less pain, smaller scars and less need for opioids after surgery.
