Nominate Someone for
Community Service Awards

Do you know someone who has made a significant contribution to our community through volunteer service? If so, nominate the person you’re thinking about for the Genesis Community Service Award.

The award recognizes someone who has made the world a better place by volunteering. The Genesis Foundation recognizes someone each year – someone like Bud and Audrey St. Clair – last year’s recipients pictured here.

Take the opportunity to nominate someone who’s made a difference in our area. The nomination form is due back to the Genesis Foundation office by Monday, Aug. 3.

Him: Men's Health Program

You can help the men in your life get and stay healthier. Men often need encouragement to participate in routine preventative care, including recommended screenings and assessments for the leading cause of death in men: heart disease and cancer.

Benjamin R. Gibson, M.D., will present the program on prostate health and other topics of importance to men. Matt Perry, Genesis President & CEO, will present how Genesis is recreating the way health care is provided to our community.

Northside Pharmacy will provide free DermaView screenings and there will be free PulseOx and Spirometry screenings available for all attendees. Door prizes will be provided for both men and women.

We've Moved

After years of planning and more than two years of construction, your new Genesis Hospital is now fully open. On the morning of June 27, we moved all patients and services from Genesis-Good Samaritan Hospital to the new Genesis hospital. All patients and services were moved, and Good Samaritan will no longer accept patients.

The new Genesis Hospital is located at 2951 Maple Ave. You can learn more about your new Genesis Hospital by clicking on the button below or calling (740) 454-4000.
