Genesis HealthCare System invites you to “Meet the Docs,” where you’ll meet Genesis health providers serving the six-county community.

Childbirth Preparation Class presents information to prepare for and enhance your labor experience. Topics include pain management and epidural, induction of labor, C-sections, abnormal signs and symptoms, relaxation and helpful tips for the support person.

Any first-time mom or previous breastfeeding mom will benefit from this class. Fathers or support persons are encouraged to attend. We recommend you attend between your fifth and eighth month of pregnancy.

Genesis Women’s and Children’s Services is holding this free event for those in the community who have lost an infant to miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, stillborn or newborn death. The event is an opportunity to honor and remember these infants.

Bring your infant for a weight check and have the opportunity to ask our lactation consultant questions regarding your infant.

This class is designed for expecting parents. We recommend you attend this one-time, two-hour class any time after the fourth month of your pregnancy.

Genesis Outpatient Rehabilitation offers a free support group for individuals with Parkinson’s disease, their families and caregivers. The meetings are open to all community members.
