Staying connected

You want to stay in touch with your loved one while they’re in the hospital. We make it easy to connect.

Call the Patient Connect line at 740-450-6350 and enter your loved one’s room number to be connected directly.

If you don’t know the room number, call Patient Information at 740-454-4225. 

Our tobacco-free campus

Your health and comfort matter. To support a safe and healthy environment, all Genesis locations are tobacco-free.

Tobacco is not allowed anywhere on campus, including parking areas.

If you use tobacco, talk with your care team about options to help you while you’re here. Visitors may also ask about nicotine gum at the main lobby or emergency department. 

Free wi-fi

We offer free wireless internet for patients and visitors, so you can stay connected during your visit. Please be aware of the Wifi Terms and Conditions of Use.

Visiting hours

You want time with your loved ones, and rest is important for healing. Most patients can have visitors from 5:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Some areas have different hours:

  • Critical Care Unit (CCU):
    • Visitors age 12+ welcome from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. (up to four people at a time)
  • Emergency Department:
    • Visitors must check in at the front desk for a pass
  • Labor & Delivery:
    • Up to two visitors during labor (including the main support person)
  • Mother Baby Unit:
    • Visiting hours are 10:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
    • One support person may stay 24/7
    • Up to three visitors at a time
  • Hospice:
    • Visiting is allowed at any time
