Genesis HealthCare System was the first in the State of Ohio to receive Chest Pain Center accreditation with PCI from the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care (SCPC) because we closely follow the American College of Cardiology and American Heart Association’s recommendations for heart attack care.

    • Impella® heart pump - The Impella® Percutaneous Hemodynamic Support Device is used in patients with heart failure and high-risk patients undergoing Percutaneous Intervention (PCI) stenting. Impella pumps blood from the left ventricle of the heart during a procedure to allow it to recover and rest.
