Thomas Grant Lewis, D.O., has joined the Genesis Center of Surgical Excellence, specializing in general surgery. Dr. Lewis is a graduate of Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he earned his doctor of osteopathic medicine degree. He completed a general surgery residency at McLaren Greater Lansing and served as Chief Resident from 2023 to 2024. Dr. Lewis also holds a bachelor of arts in biology with a concentration in cellular and molecular biology from Thomas More College, Crestview Hills, Kentucky. Since 2019, he has been an adjunct professor of surgery at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, contributing to the education of future medical professionals. Prior to medical school, Dr. Lewis conducted cancer research at the Wood Hudson Cancer Research Laboratory, where he contributed to breast cancer receptor studies and mentored student researchers in lab techniques and scientific analysis.

Christopher Leibold, D.O., is an orthopedic surgeon who focuses on partial and total knee replacements and anterior hip replacement, a surgical approach that may lead to faster recovery and less pain. Dr. Leibold also provides revision hip and knee replacement.

Originally from Mount Vernon, Ohio, Dr. Leibold has always loved learning and working with his hands.

“My values have always been caring for my family and helping others in need,” said Dr. Leibold. “I got interested in orthopedics during one of my shifts in medical school. I learned to love the diverse field of orthopedics and how you can decrease pain while improving the body’s range of motion.”

His medical philosophy when treating patients is that they are treated like family. “I think of my patients as someone’s mom, dad, husband or child,” said Dr. Leibold. “I want patients to return to their best life as soon as possible.”

When Dr. Leibold is not caring for patients, he enjoys making memories with his wife and children, including going on family vacations and visiting parks and festivals.

Minh Le, D.P.M., Genesis Foot & Ankle, specializes in podiatry. Dr. Le completed his podiatric medicine and surgery residency with credentials in reconstructive rearfoot/ankle surgery at The Christ Hospital Health Network in Cincinnati, Ohio. He received his medical training at Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine, Kent, Ohio, and completed his undergraduate degree at Wheeling Jesuit University, West Virginia. Dr. Le is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and the American Society of Podiatric Surgeons. Through his professional and academic experience, he is committed to providing outstanding patient care and advancing the field of podiatric surgery.
