General Cardiology

Heart health can feel overwhelming. Questions about risk, prevention and long-term care are common, especially for women, who often have different symptoms than men.

Having a trusted cardiologist who listens, explains and guides patients through every stage of care can make all the difference.

Guided by our strong commitment to cardiovascular care, Genesis Heart & Vascular Group welcomes Anna Hay, M.D., a general cardiologist dedicated to helping patients protect their heart health through prevention, education and advanced testing.

“I have a passion for prevention and women’s health. My goal is to help patients understand their heart health and identify concerns early so we can take the right steps to prevent disease before it advances.”

Dr. Hay specializes in cardiac imaging tests that help doctors find early signs of heart disease and create personalized care plans. By identifying issues sooner, patients can feel more confident about their health and future.

Originally from North Carolina, Dr. Hay was drawn to healthcare at a young age after seeing the positive impact her parents had as dentists. That exposure shaped her desire to care for others and guide patients through important health decisions.

When she is not caring for patients, Dr. Hay enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.

Dr. Hay is accepting patients at the Genesis Heart & Vascular Institute, 955 Bethesda Drive, First Floor, Zanesville. Patients can schedule appointments by calling 740-454-0804.
