Yamini Patel, M.D., has joined Genesis Pulmonary/Critical Care Specialists with a focus on pulmonary and critical care medicine. Dr. Patel completed her fellowship in pulmonary and critical care at Corewell Health East William Beaumont University Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. She completed her internal medicine residency at The Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education in Scranton, Pennsylvania, and earned her doctor of medicine in biomedical sciences from St. George’s University School of Medicine in St. George's, Grenada. Dr. Patel has held several leadership roles, including Senior Administrative Chief and Internal Medicine Chief Resident, Fellow President of the House Staff Council and has contributed to peer-reviewed publications in her field. She is dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients in our community.

Frank Kickel, M.D., specializes in family medicine. Dr. Kickel earned his doctor of medicine degree from the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences in Toledo, Ohio. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at Firelands Regional Medical Center in Sandusky, Ohio, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Kickel also holds a master’s degree of science in Medical Physiology from Case Western Reserve University and a bachelor of arts in Neuroscience from The College of Wooster.

Dr. Kickel brings a strong background in primary care and clinical leadership, with experience in orthopedics, sports medicine, and wound care. He provides comprehensive care for patients of all ages, from infants through geriatric patients, and is committed to helping individuals and families achieve lifelong health and well-being. Through a compassionate, patient-centered approach, he values building long-term relationships and partnering with patients to navigate their healthcare needs with confidence at every stage of life. Dr. Kickel is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Association. Outside the office, he enjoys golfing, reading, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.
