Derrick L. Reedus, Sr., M.D., joined Genesis Urology Group as a specialist in general urology and brings over 20 years of experience providing comprehensive urologic care to Genesis. Dr. Reedus earned his doctor of medicine from Northeast Ohio Medical University in Rootstown, Ohio, and completed his residency in urology at Akron General Medical Center/Summa Health System, where he served as Chief Resident. He also completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Akron General Medical Center, Akron, Ohio. Dr. Reedus has practiced across multiple healthcare systems, providing full-spectrum urologic care to patients in diverse hospital and outpatient settings. He treats urologic cancers and non-cancerous conditions, including kidney stones, incontinence and urinary tract infections.
