Rewarding and Engaging Students in Substance Treatment (R.E.S.I.S.T.) Summer Program

Genesis HealthCare System’s Behavioral Health team is holding two summer programs designed to address substance use with at-risk youth ages 13 to 17.

The program can help participants learn skills to avoid substance abuse and lead a sober life through a variety of fun engaging activities to reinforce learning.

 

Attendees may participate in:

  • Education on drugs, vaping, self-esteem, peer pressure, sober living skills and relapse prevention

  • Individual counseling

  • Group therapy

  • Case management

  • Family sessions

 

(R.E.S.I.S.T.) Summer Program details

Days and times:

  • From 1 to 4 p.m., Monday, Tuesday and Thursday for four weeks.

Choose your session:

  • June 3 through June 27, 2024 – assessment required by May 17

  • July 8 through August 1, 2024 - assessment required by June 21
