Your health.
Your story.
Our mission.
Every day, I’m reminded of the strength and spirit of our community. The decisions you, your family and your neighbors make about your well-being shape the work we do at Genesis.
Your commitment to better health enables us to bring exceptional physicians to serve you. We’re pleased to welcome Anna Hay, M.D., who specializes in general cardiology, and Derrick Reedus, Sr., M.D., an expert in urology. Both are here to provide excellent, compassionate care close to home.
Blue Rock resident Tom Rayner chose Genesis for his double knee replacement surgery. He’s now back to running his small business and enjoying activities with his nine grandchildren. Tom’s story is a reminder that taking steps to improve your health can help you get back to what you love.
This issue includes our 2025 Community Benefit Report, highlighting how families across our region are building stronger, healthier lives. From education and support programs to new partnerships with local schools, these efforts reflect our long‑standing mission to provide greater access and compassionate care for every family we serve.
This spring, we’re opening the Behavioral Health Youth Crisis Stabilization Unit in Zanesville, providing more support for young people during challenging times.
Thanks to our partnership with Allwell Behavioral Health Services and the generous support of local and state partners, more families can benefit from specialized mental health resources in our community.
I hope you find moments of rest and renewal in the days ahead. As always, know that Genesis is here for you, ready to support you whenever you need us.
In good health,
