Genesis HealthCare System earned primary stroke recertification by the Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC).

Genesis HealthCare System recently received the American Heart Association’s (AHA) Get With The Guidelines®-Stroke Gold Plus award with Target: Stroke Honor Roll Elite and Target: Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll as well as Get With The Guidelines® Rural Stroke Gold Award. 

 These awards recognize Genesis’ commitment to ensuring stroke patients receive the most appropriate treatment according to nationally recognized and research-based guidelines.

Genesis HealthCare System earned primary stroke recertification by the Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program (HFAP), the nation’s original independent accreditation organization recognized by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).

Genesis HealthCare System held a groundbreaking ceremony today to kick off construction of its new Genesis Hospice Care inpatient facility, the J.W. & M.H. Straker Foundation Hospice House. The new building is expected to be completed in 2026.
