The Genesis HealthCare Foundation helps Genesis HealthCare System provide compassionate, quality healthcare by overseeing gifts, grants and donations.

$65 million in life-saving projects

Since its inception in 1999 through the merger of the Bethesda Hospital Foundation and the Good Samaritan Medical Center Foundation, the Genesis HealthCare Foundation has provided over $65 million in financial support to the community through life-saving projects and programs at Genesis HealthCare System.

Additionally, the Foundation oversees over 100 restricted funds, each with a unique purpose of supporting the specific healthcare needs of our community.

  • Cancer Medication – critical medications for cancer patients with

  • Blanket Fund – Good Samaritan Nursing Alumni campaign to provide
  • warm blankets in the winter to our community’s neediest citizens
