Medicare open enrollment 2024

Genesis HealthCare System cannot accept Anthem Medicare Advantage or Humana Medicare Advantage plans in 2024. This means the entire Genesis HealthCare System, including Genesis Hospital, Genesis Coshocton Medical Center, Genesis Perry County and Genesis Medical Group Physicians will not be in-network with the Anthem Medicare Advantage or Humana Medicare Advantage plans.

If you are a current participant in Anthem Medicare Advantage or Humana Medicare Advantage and did not make changes during the Medicare Annual Election Period (AEP), you will have a second chance to change plans from January 1 through March 31, 2024. Changing plans can enable you to choose a plan that includes Genesis HealthCare System.

The best way a patient can seek assistance in evaluating which MA plan is right for them is to work with an insurance broker to select their plan. Insurance brokers can help evaluate the patient’s choice to find a plan that meets their unique needs. There is no cost for this service.

• Medical Mutual of Ohio

• Medigold

• United Healthcare

• CareSource Medicare Advantage

• The Health Plan Medicare Advantage

• AllWell Buckeye Medicare Advantage

• Valor Health Plan Medicare Advantage
