For Your Life...
For Your Health

The health of you and your family is our central focus. We provide a wide variety of educational programs, support groups and events throughout our community.

Do you want to find out how to reduce falls or why you're having persistent headaches? Maybe your family would like to get fitness tips and Walk With a Doc. Here's a current list of these programs and others.

We reach out to community groups to offer free health screenings and educational programs or invite you to Genesis for those services. It's just another way we focus on you and your family.

It's All in Your Head

Think that persistent, throbbing ache is just in your head? Think again. Though everyone gets the occasional headache, it’s estimated that about 12 percent of Americans, about 30 million people, suffer from migraine headaches.

Migraines are a neurological disorder in which a person suffers recurrent moderate to severe headaches that worsen during routine physical activity and can last from four hours to three or more days when left untreated. Join Jason Allen, D.O. as he presents It’s All in Your Head to learn about migraine headaches.

While your new Genesis Hospital is being built on the Genesis-Bethesda site, the hospital remains open to meet your needs. We have had to close the emergency department, but you can still receive quality emergency care at Genesis-Good Samaritan 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The Genesis-Bethesda Physicians Pavilion also remains open.
