This is Your Hospital. Your Health. And you’re helping to build it. Thanks to you, we surpassed our goal of raising $15 million for your new Genesis hospital. In fact, nearly 16 million was raised!
The generosity of this community is phenomenal, and we’re grateful for every donation, large and small. We’re proud to soon bring you a modern health care facility that will serve this community for generations to come. Read more.
Saving lives, one couple at a time
As a couple, you face a lot of things hand-in-hand, including the birth of a child, watching your children grow, traveling and more, so why should your health be any different. Hand in Hand® is a unique program for couples to join together to participate in education, screenings and early detection of gender-specific cancers. You and your partner will enjoy a meal, entertainment and the latest information on early detection and prevention of cancer.
Join us on March 31.
While your new Genesis medical center is being built on the Genesis-Bethesda site, the hospital remains open to meet your needs. We have had to close the emergency department, but you can still receive quality emergency care at Genesis-Good Samaritan 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The Genesis-Bethesda Physicians Pavilion also remains open.
From March 2 until the end of June, the fitness trail will be closed for the safety of walkers. Read more about this closing.

For the protection of our hospital patients during this flu season,
Genesis is now limiting visitation to immediate family only, age 18 and older. We ask no more than two family members visit at one time, and all visitors should be free of flu symptoms. Visitors to the OB nurseries are limited to parents, grandparents and guardians only. Visitors with flu symptoms may be asked to wear a mask. Please check with the nurses’ station or front desk staff if you have questions. Thank you for your understanding. Learn more
