New Cancer Care
Center Is Open

The new Genesis Cancer Care Center is open! The center brings most Genesis cancer services under one roof in a warm, healing environment. The goal has been to create a comforting space for you and your family while our staff gives compassionate, quality care.

The center was designed with input from our patients, doctors and nurses to make sure you have the best possible experience.

You don’t have to leave home for nationally ranked cancer care. It’s available right here.

Celebrating Volunteer Week

Genesis Volunteers share their heart, mind and soul each and every day. They touch the lives of patients and their families, visitors, staff and physicians. Our volunteers at Genesis are the heart of the team. They lead a variety of projects such as delivering flowers to patients, raising funds for the hospital, and much more.

We celebrate volunteer week at Genesis April 5 to 11. During the week, there’s a banquet to honor our volunteers. You’ll find the names of volunteers receiving awards this year on the link below. We’re grateful to the volunteers at Genesis for sharing the compassion in their hearts.

Move! Orthopedics

Sometimes just the thought of moving your body makes you feel those aches and pains. Did you know that you rely on more than 200 bones and 200 joints, along with muscles, tendons, ligaments, nerves and cartilage or connective tissue, to get you through your day?

Come learn more about orthopedic health as Dr. Cox presents ways to help us move.

Open During Construction

While your new Genesis Hospital is being built on the Genesis-Bethesda site, the hospital remains open to meet your needs. We have had to close the emergency department, but you can still receive quality emergency care at Genesis-Good Samaritan 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The Genesis-Bethesda Physicians Pavilion also remains open.
