Join Spirit of Women this year and earn your Passport to Good Health
There will be four events this year focusing on a health topic highlighted by a journey to a special country. To encourage you to travel with us you will receive a passport to have signed at each event to be entered to win a grand prize. Use your Spirit passport and attend three of the four events listed to be entered in a drawing for a grand prize – a two night stay at the Homewood Suites in Dublin, provided by our sponsor at Fairfield Inn in Zanesville and a $50 gift card from Spirit of Women. For each event, your passport will be stamped at registration. The winner will be drawn after the last event and will be notified by mail.
Each volunteer at Genesis is a special gift. We celebrate their service and dedication during Genesis Volunteer Week, April 20-26. Volunteers like Judy Trout, pictured here, brighten lives of patients and families with their welcoming smiles and compassionate care.
During the week, a banquet is held to thank and honor all of our volunteers. We also award several volunteers for their years or hours of service. You can find the list of other honorees here.
While your new Genesis medical center is being built on the Genesis-Bethesda site, the hospital remains open to meet your needs. We have had to close the emergency department, but you can still receive quality emergency care at Genesis-Good Samaritan 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The Genesis-Bethesda Physicians Pavilion also remains open.
From March 2 until the end of June, the fitness trail will be closed for the safety of walkers. Read more about this closing.
