New Cancer Care
Center Is Open

The new Genesis Cancer Care Center is open! The center brings most Genesis cancer services under one roof in a warm, healing environment. The goal has been to create a comforting space for you and your family while our staff gives compassionate, quality care.

The center was designed with input from our patients, doctors and nurses to make sure you have the best possible experience.

You don’t have to leave home for nationally ranked cancer care. It’s available right here.

Visitors Restricted Due to Flu

We’re seeing a lot of patients with flu-like symptoms in our hospital. We’re taking steps to reduce the chance of spreading the flu. These include restricting visitors at the hospital. Read more about the restrictions.

Due to a high volume of patients with flu-like symptoms in our ER and FirstCare sites, we are experiencing longer-than-normal wait times. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

Connect: Digestive Health

Chances are that you may not have connected the dots between your digestive health and feeling healthy. Your digestive system processes and converts food into nutrients your body uses for energy, growth and cell repair, then gets rid of the waste.

Join us Wednesday, March 11 for a free and fun educational seminar on connecting your digestive system with your overall health. Our featured speaker is Andrew Chernick, MD.

Open During Construction

While your new Genesis medical center is being built on the Genesis-Bethesda site, the hospital remains open to meet your needs. We have had to close the emergency department, but you can still receive quality emergency care at Genesis-Good Samaritan 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The Genesis-Bethesda Physicians Pavilion also remains open.
