“It is an honor and a privilege to work among compassionate people who exceed expectations to provide the best care for their families, friends and neighbors. Every day patients share stories about the phenomenal experiences they had at Genesis,” said Matthew Perry, president and CEO, Genesis HealthCare System. “Genesis employees give tirelessly to provide quality healthcare. Their high-quality care of our patients is verified through outcomes and in the quality-related awards and designations we receive.”
Genesis Hospital recently earned a third consecutive 4-Star rating for Overall Hospital Quality from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS); an “A” from The Leapfrog Group’s spring 2019 Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade; and accreditation from Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program (HFAP), the nation’s original independent accreditation program, recognized by CMS. The accreditation confirms that Genesis HealthCare System is providing high-quality care as determined by an independent, external process of evaluation.
