Genesis Hospice Receives Donation from Follies Family
Zanesville, OH (July 2, 2014 ) – Genesis Hospice Care recently received a $25,000 donation from the Follies Family. The Follies Family is group of volunteers producing a variety show to raise funds for Genesis Hospice.
“We’re grateful to receive this generous donation,” said Lori Junk, manager of Genesis Hospice Care. “The funds provide care for people in our community who can’t afford to pay.” The funding also helps provide supplies and medications for people throughout the area being cared for in their home by Genesis Hospice. “The families in our area our extremely thankful to receive this care,” Junk said.
Charlotte Snider is thankful the specialized care is available closer to home. “We’re so fortunate to have hospice care in our community,” said the vice president of the Follies Family. Snider and Jon Kullman, president of Follies Family, each have volunteered more than 25 years.
