Although this event is geared toward active or retired coal miners or anyone who’s ever been exposed to coal dust through employment, all adults are welcome to attend.
A nurse practitioner will be available to review your screening results. There will also be a Department of Labor representative to help fill out applications and answer questions about black lung benefits.

Free and Open to Everyone
You can participate in free screenings, including:
- Respiratory screenings
- Blood sugar screenings (It’s best not to eat or drink anything two hours before.)
- Blood pressure/stroke awareness
- DermaView skin screenings
- Tobacco Cessation
The Morgan County Health Department will also be offering Flu and Pneumonia vaccinations.
