Need Help Through Withdrawal?
You can get help breaking through the cycle of addiction. New Vision at Genesis Hospital accepts qualifying adults, who are currently using or are experiencing withdrawal symptoms from certain drugs. The program is a voluntary, medically supervised hospital stay that includes a pre-screening, assessment, admission, medical stabilization and appropriate discharge planning.
What Do Our Withdrawal Management Services Include?
• Short-term stay in Genesis Hospital (typically three days)
• A service coordinator and an intake coordinator provided by New Vision
• Confidential hospital stay with compassionate care by Genesis physicians and nurses 24/7
• Most insurance plans accepted including Medicare and Medicaid
How Does the Drug and Alcohol Withdrawal Treatment Work?
After admission to the hospital for medical stabilization, the patient will have a medical history assessment, a physical, a complete lab workup and a nursing assessment. Only a licensed physician can determine those who qualify. Plans for outpatient care will be developed before the patient leaves the hospital and could include long- or short-term rehabilitation and follow-up counseling.
