Every volunteer has a unique contribution to make at Genesis Hospice. Whether you have swift fingers on the keyboard, enjoy talking and listening to people, or are good at repairing and building things, we can match you with a job that needs done. Every person has special skills and hospice offers opportunities to us those skills in ways that suit you best.

Patient/Family Care

Offers patients and their families:

• Listening
• Memories
• Respite
• Caring

Grief and Loss Support

Offers post-death support services for hospice families (services are based on individual family needs.)

Office Support

Offers skills in such areas as:

• Office work
• Typing
• Mailings
• Receptionist duties
• Telephone assistance

 Other Support

• Fund-raising activities
• Decorating
• Committee involvement
