Emergency & Trauma Services

Flu Alert
We are currently experiencing a high volume of patients with influenza (flu). Please be aware that you will experience longer wait times when you visit our emergency department or one of our FirstCare locations due to this high volume.

In a medical emergency, you can rely on our full-service emergency department at Good Samaritan, where high quality care is provided 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

When you arrive at the Genesis-Good Samaritan Emergency Department, a nurse or physician will determine the nature of your illness or injury. Patients with serious or life-threatening emergencies are treated first.

If you have a minor illness  or injury, you may have an extended waiting time while patients with more serious emergencies are treated first. Learn more about the convenience of our FirstCare centers for minor illnesses or injuries.

The Genesis-Good Samaritan emergency department is also home to our Level III Trauma Center.
