Diabetes Management Program

Chances are you or someone you know has diabetes. Our program can help you and your support system manage the disease. The American Diabetes Association recognizes our program as providing quality self-management education.

Learn How to Manage Diabetes

Living with diabetes is not easy. That's why we offer classes to help you understand the disease, recognize the symptoms and plan healthy meals. The classes are open to people with Type 1, Type 2 or gestational diabetes and a support person.

You can choose from several sessions throughout the year. Although there is a charge for the classes, with a physician order we can bill your insurance, Medicare or Medicaid. If you have questions about the outpatient diabetes education coverage, call your insurance provider. Some insurance carriers require pre-certification before attending classes. View our classes and events.

Exercise Program

Our program is open to people living with diabetes including those who have been diagnosed with pre-diabetes and your support person.

Tests & Treatments

Genesis offers free diabetes screenings, which requires about an hour of time and only a drop of blood.
