Genesis has state-of-the-art equipment, including:
- Two linear accelerators
- Dedicated CT simulator
- 3D treatment planning system
- Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT)
- Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT)
Physicians use IMRT and IGRT to focus the highest radiation dose on certain kinds of cancer cells, while limiting the dose to the surrounding sensitive tissue and organs.
