Genesis has several groups to help you and your loved ones cope with cancer.
Breast Buddies
If you've battled breast cancer, or are still fighting the disease, this
monthly support group is for you.
Breast Buddies approaches breast cancer in an active, positive way, and helps you gain a sense of control over your disease. You'll share information and ways to cope with others going through the same thing. Come for one meeting, or plan to attend every month –Breast Buddies is here for you.
Man to Man
Man to Man is a monthly support group for men with prostate cancer and their families. Enjoy a comfortable setting to discuss and learn about prostate cancer. Group members support other men who are dealing with
the disease.
This is a joint program of the American Cancer Society and Genesis Cancer Services.
I Can Cope
I Can Cope is a series of free educational classes for people facing cancer, their families and friends. Classes help you with day-to-day issues of living with a chronic disease like cancer.
You will learn about:
- Cancer development
- Diagnosis and treatment
- Side effects
- New research
- Communication
- Emotions
- Sexuality
- Self-esteem
- Community Resources

Look Good, Feel Better
Cancer can be devastating for women – sapping your energy, appetite and strength. But it doesn't have to take your self-confidence. Look Good … Feel Better is a joint program of the American Cancer Society and Genesis Cancer Services that teaches beauty techniques to women being treated for cancer.

Reach to Recovery
Through face to face visits or by phone, Reach to Recovery provides support to newly diagnosed breast cancer patients.
