Community Value 100® Hospital
To earn this award, Genesis was compared against hospitals in four areas – financial strength and reinvestment, cost of care, pricing and quality of care. Hospitals were divided into five groups based on their hospital type, and the 20 hospitals in each group with the highest scores earned the honor. Genesis was named in the Non-teaching Large Community Hospital Group, which included about 550 hospitals. And, since Genesis scored in the top 20% of our group, we were also named a Community Value Five Star® Hospital.
