Genesis Hospital Visiting
Hours

As a patient- and family-centered hospital, we understand visitors play in an important role in patients’ healing and recovery. We welcome visitors as an important part of our health care team. Please review the information below as you prepare to visit your loved one.

Primary Support Person

Patients may choose one person to be their primary support person. The patient tells us who their primary support person is, and he or she can visit any time (24 hours a day, 7 days a week) during the patient’s hospital stay. If the primary support person visits after regular hospital visiting hours
(8 a.m. to 9 p.m.), he or she should enter through the Emergency Department and register with the customer service representative.

Friends and Family

Family and friends are welcome to visit often between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. Children are welcome during these times as well.

Our first priority is the safety and well-being of our patients; this includes enough time for rest. The number of visitors permitted in a room at one time depends on the needs and comfort of each patient. Please respect the request of the nursing staff if they ask to limit the number of visitors or times of visitation to allow patients to rest and recuperate.

When visiting patients, please:

  • Enter through the main entrance of the hospital
  • Register with the customer relations representative at the Information Desk
