Genesis Offers Pain Partnership Support Group

Zanesville, OH (June 12, 2014) Genesis HealthCare System recently started a pain partnership support group for anyone in the community suffering from constant pain. “The goal of the group is to help people in our community dealing with chronic pain learn ways to manage the pain,” said Keela Barker, director of Neuroscience Services at Genesis.

The support group meets every other month from 6 to 7:15 p.m. at the Genesis Interventional Pain Management Clinic, 2945 Maple Ave., in Zanesville. The next meeting is Wednesday, June 25.

The group meetings feature speakers on exercise, pain management and other topics to help take steps to deal with pain. There isn’t any cost to attend, and registration is not required. For more information, call the Genesis Interventional Pain Management Clinic at 454-4721.
