Genesis Offers Exercise and Nutrition Program for Children and Parents

Zanesville, OH (Aug. 28, 2014) Genesis Nutrition Education is offering a free program for children and parents on exercise and nutrition. The program, Shaping Futures, is designed for children ages 5 to 11 years old.

 “It’s a fun and interactive program designed to help children and parents learn how to incorporate exercise and a healthy diet into their daily routine,” said Heather Shuster, manager, Genesis Population Health & Wellness. Activities include outdoor games, Zumba® kids exercises and creating veggie creatures. 

The four week sessions are held on Mondays and Thursdays at the Muskingum Recreation Center from 6 to 7 p.m.  The first class starts Monday, Sept. 8.
