Genesis Nurse Practitioner Serves on National Committee

Zanesville, OH (Oct. 11, 2013) – Mary Jones, DNP, CNM, FNP-BC, a nurse practitioner in Genesis Emergency Services, is one of only 10 caregivers Mary Jonesnationwide selected to serve on a national team to help set standards for nurses. She traveled to Silver Springs, Md., in August to set the passing score on the new Emergency Nurse Practitioner certification.

"Mary’s selection as a national committee member is an example of the skilled practitioners we have at Genesis. Her involvement in setting standards demonstrates the high level of care we’re providing in southeastern Ohio," said David Davis, R.N., B.A., M.I.S., director of Emergency & Trauma Services at Genesis.
