Genesis Celebrates Rehab Week

Zanesville, OH (Sept. 12, 2013) – National Rehabilitation Awareness Week is Sept. 15-21, and Genesis HealthCare System is taking this opportunity to increase awareness of the quality rehab services it has been providing to the people of southeastern Ohio for more than 35 years.

Genesis offers rehabilitation to those who have suffered stroke, brain or spinal cord injuries, orthopedic or other medical problems that diminish the quality of life. Other services include interventional pain management, a spine rehab center that addresses back pain, and a newly opened facility dedicated to pediatric rehab patients.

Some patients may require intensive rehabilitation in the hospital, while others may need outpatient care for a variety of therapies and treatments. The physicians and staff work together to design a program for each patient’s specific needs.

Genesis Rehabilitation Services is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (C.A.R.F.), which means it is nationally recognized as a provider of rehab services.
