Micah Jones Foundation Donates to Genesis Trauma Services

The Micah Jones Foundation donated “Bags of Comfort” to Genesis Trauma Services. The “Bags of Comfort” are bags that are distributed to patients who have sustained traumatic brain injuries.

The bags are designed to meet the basic needs of patients. Each bag contains information about traumatic brain injuries and about care they may receive. The bags also contain comfort items such as a water bottle, a plush throw blanket, and a journal and pen so patients can keep track of their medications and other information. Genesis Trauma Services is grateful to the Micah Jones Foundation for their generosity.

Genesis HealthCare System has proven itself to have high quality trauma care, and attained Level III Trauma verification by the Ohio Department of Health in accordance with the American College of Surgeons' Committee on Trauma (ACSCOT).
