Genesis Hospice Sponsors Honor Flight Movie

Genesis Hospice is a sponsor of the “Honor Flight” movie. The movie will be shown free of charge at the John McIntire Library in Zanesville at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 8.

“We’re glad to be able to provide the movie free of charge, along with other sponsors in our community, to honor those who have served our country,” said Rebecca Jenei, R.N., B.S.N., M.A.E., director of Genesis Hospice Care. The movie is made possible through the “We Honor Veterans” campaign. The campaign is conducted by the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization in conjunction with the Department of Veteran Affairs.

Honor Flight is a documentary about four living World War II veterans and a Midwest community coming together to give them the trip of the lifetime. The 24-hour journey is full of surprises that deeply move all who are involved.
