Driving Changes Around Bethesda Hospital Campus
Zanesville, OH (June 30, 2014) – Beginning July 7, driving to physicians’ offices around Genesis-Bethesda Hospital will change. The portion of Van Gader Drive closest to Bethesda Hospital will close for construction. Drivers will not be able to access Van Gader Drive, Bethesda Drive or the Physicians Pavilion from the main entrance of Bethesda Hospital. The road is scheduled to be closed for approximately two months; however, every effort will be made to reopen it sooner if possible.
The alternate route is to take Bell Street and turn onto Bethesda Drive beside Northside Pharmacy. Drivers will be able to turn right onto Van Gader from Bethesda Drive to access physicians’ offices located along Van Gader. These offices are Surgical Associates, Eye Surgery Associates, Southeastern Ohio ENT and the Genesis Interventional Pain Management Clinic.
Throughout the course of this year, the campus is being redesigned to enhance parking and traffic flow. Routine rerouting of traffic, parking lot closures and heavy construction traffic will continue until year’s end. The community is reminded to drive with caution when traveling on the campus.
The hospital construction project is scheduled to be complete in late spring of 2015. Read more about the project.
