1 Lobby & Retail Area
The new medical center lobby will welcome you with a warm and inviting atmosphere. Natural light comes into the lobby from the numerous windows.
You’ll find plenty of relaxing seating and refreshments, a gift shop and pharmacy close by. The main lobby will be the gateway to the services offered at Genesis, providing easy access to any location in the medical center.
2 Main Entrance
The sweeping entrance leads you right to the main entrance. For your convenience a large covered canopy is available for shelter from the weather.
3 ED Waiting Area
Our new emergency department lounge will allow for natural sunlight to enter though large windows lining one side. The area will be decorated in soothing, calming tones and textures. You’ll also find comfortable seating arranged for small groups to have a space of their own.

The courtyard will allow a lot of natural light to filter throughout the medical center, especially the lobbies. It will be a perfect spot for visitors to enjoy the outdoors while their loved ones are cared for.
5 Surgery Waiting Room
The surgery lounge on the second floor will enable families and friends to wait for loved ones in a calm and comfortable area with a beautiful view of the multi-story courtyard. And, if you need a refreshment or other incidentals, the main lobby with a café, gift shop and pharmacy is close by.
6 CVIU – 3rd Floor
The corridor on Cardiovascular Intermediate Unit boasts a clean and simple design, which makes it easy for patients and visitors to find their destination. The unit will also have recessed entries into patient rooms, creating more privacy and reducing noise. The soft lighting and relaxing colors will create a warm and inviting atmosphere for patients and their visitors.
7 Med/Surg Patient Room
Our private patients rooms will be decorated with warm and inviting colors. The comforts of home will be included – flat-screen TV, private bathroom and room service. Much of the medical technology and equipment needed to care for you will be discretely hidden behind panels.
8 CCU – 3rd Floor
The critical care unit will be located on the third floor. The unit and the rooms will follow the same warm and relaxing design as the rest of the units. The patient room on this floor is big enough to hold larger pieces of equipment often needed for patients in this area, but small enough to feel warm and home like.
As you leave the medical center’s main lobby and enter the enclosed connector to the Sarap Cancer Center, you’ll be bathed in natural light. There will be areas that you can sit down and relax. The St. Francis statue from the Genesis-Good Samaritan Campus has found a new home here.
10 Cancer Center Lobby
As you enter the new Dr. Nick A. & Nancy Sarap Cancer Center you’ll be greeted with a warm and welcoming lobby that flows right to the reception desk. The new Cancer Center will bring most of the cancer services together under one roof.
11 Cancer Center
A special feature of the new Cancer Center will be the design of the infusion bay where patients receive chemotherapy. Every patient will have a beautiful and relaxing view of the fitness trail.
12 Patient Discharge Elevator
A special design feature of the new medical center is the patient discharge elevator. This will provide our patients with a comfortable and private transition from the medical center to their car.
A beautiful chapel sponsored by the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity is conveniently located on the first floor.
