October is recognized as National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness month. Genesis HealthCare System coordinates the “Walk to Remember” in memory of the almost 1 million babies that die each year through miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, stillbirth, and newborn death. The Walk by parents, health professionals, and friends across the United States symbolically unites those who have experienced a loss and those who care for them.
