Black Lung & Respiratory Clinic
The Coal Miners Health Fair is geared toward active or retired coal miners or anyone who has ever been exposed to coal dust through employment, but it’s also open to any adult.
You can participate in free screenings including:
• Respiratory screenings
• Blood sugar screenings (It’s best not to eat or drink anything two hours before.)
• Blood pressure/stroke awareness
• DermaView skin screenings
• Body fat analysis
• Grip strength testing, and more
A nurse practitioner will be available to review your screening results. There will also be a Department of Labor representative on hand to help fill out applications and answer questions about black lung benefits.
