The April Memorial Service began in 2009 to give parents and families a chance to lie to rest their baby who was lost through miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy.
When a family loses a baby who is less than 20 weeks gestation, we offer the option for the infant to be buried in a communal burial at Babyland. A special stone is placed at the site to signify the babies lost that year. This makes it easy for parents to identify where their baby has been laid to rest.
The ceremony will be at Hillis Funeral Home. The service will begin at 10:30 a.m., and a procession to Babyland at Mt. Olive Cemetery will follow.
