The community’s expectations of hospitals are continually changing. In addition to returning the sick to health, the hospitals were looked upon to keep people healthy and to provide care outside of the hospital walls. New and innovative programs were developed to provide the information and support needed to stay healthy and productive.
In addition to hospital services, Genesis affiliated organizations also offer a variety of services in and around the southeastern Ohio area. System-affiliated businesses include a variety of for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. As well as, in-home personal care and nursing services; retail pharmacies; health centers, in-home oxygen, medical equipment and infusion services; a community fitness center; nursing homes and extended care facilities; and a child care center.
