Endocrinologist Joins Genesis Medical Staff

M. Tufail Ijaz, M.D., F.A.C.E.

M. Tufail Ijaz, M.D., F.A.C.E., joined the Genesis Medical Staff as the area’s only board-certified endocrinologist. Dr. Ijaz will see patients with endocrine-related conditions such as diabetes, adrenal and pituitary disorders, thyroid problems, osteoporosis, calcium problems, hyperlipidemia, obesity and others.

Dr. Ijaz is a graduate of the Khyber Medical College in Peshawar, Pakistan. He completed his internal medicine residency at St. Barnabas Hospital affiliated with Cornell Medical Center in Bronx, New York. Dr. Ijaz completed his fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock.
