If you’ve had a stroke, you may be experiencing trouble doing the activities you used to do or just doing everyday chores. These activities are addressed in our stroke rehabilitation program.
During the program, a therapist will work with you to set specifics based on your needs. The goals may include the following areas: self-care, communication, mobility skills, balance retraining, management of swallowing deficits, home management, community reintegration, evaluation of potential to return home, and team based discharge planning.
Group therapy is important in the recovery process. Bimonthly family education programs are offered for you and your caregiver, providing information about causes of strokes, risk factors and stroke recovery processes.
