Hospice enables individuals to live their lives where they are most comfortable — in their own home, a nursing home, or in the comfort of a home-like setting in the Morrison House.

Most patients are referred to hospice by a physician or another health care professional; however, anyone may refer a patient. Staff members are also available to talk with anyone about grief and how to deal with the loss of a loved one.

Genesis Hospice and Palliative Care also offers support groups for family members and friends to help them understand and cope with emotions related to grief.
